Who we are

My name is Kate, and I am the founder of Priority Post & Petal. I grew up in Chicago and have resided in Elmhurst for the past 13 years. As a wife and mother of three, I have built a life centered around family, friends, and a strong sense of community. My professional background includes experience in hospitality, retail, and supporting small businesses, assisting owners with policies, hiring, marketing, and growth strategies. I am passionate about helping others succeed, and I eventually realized it was the right time to channel that energy into starting my own venture.

The idea for Priority Post & Petal emerged from a simple, relatable moment. While sitting on my front porch, rocking in my chair and listening to country music, I reflected on how often my family and I have assisted friends, neighbors, and loved ones with everyday tasks—such as checking on their homes, collecting packages, or watering plants during their absence. I recognized that not everyone has someone nearby to rely on, but everyone deserves peace of mind.

This inspired the creation of Priority Post & Petal. We provide services such as mail and package pickup, bin services, and plant care for travelers, snowbirds, seniors, and others in need of dependable neighborly assistance when life gets busy. Helping others has always been an integral part of my identity, whether through volunteering at my children’s schools or supporting friends and family. I am grateful to now extend that same level of care to my community through this new venture.
